What is In-Center Training?

In-Center Training (ICT) is a program which was developed by KWD to greatly maximize the skills your dog learns, as well as shorten the learning life-cycle and education your dog receives. Your dog will stay with a KWD Certified Trainer for an extended period of time. After the training is completed you will be instructed on how to properly handle and maintain your dogs new skills.

All Dogs participating in KWD In-Center Training programs are professional handled and trained on a daily basis.

Obedience - Imprinting & Foundation**:

4 to 8 Week Course*

  • Full Contact Fighting Skills (for maximum security)

  • Bite Development & Strategic Targeting
  • Apprehending Threatening Individual under Gunfire & with Weapons
  • Release On Command
  • "Off" Command
  • Phase 2 Area Security (Such as the Home, Yard, Office and Vehicle)
  • Off Leash Obedience & Control for Ultimate Real-Life Effectiveness and Safety

Specialized Areas of K9 Security Training**:

8 to 12 Week Course*

$750.00 per month + Daily Boarding/Care fee

• Special Skills K9 - Includes topics such as:
  • Area and Building Search with Active Alert Guard
  • Food Refusal from Strangers
  • Object Protection & Security (such as briefcase, etc.)
  • Covert Operational Security K9 Training
  • Search and Rescue for Missing Persons
  • Weapons & Firearms Detection
  • Currency & Contraband Detection
  • Narcotics OR Explosive Substance Detection (EOD Explosive Ordnance Detection)
  
  

*Course Length is determined by each individual dogs skill-retention ability and progress, course length may vary.

**Special Skills K9 training typically takes part at our European Training Centers and is only done on special request.

 

NOTE - Each dog must meet minimum performance requirements and prerequisites prior to being accepted into the KWD In-Center Training (ICT) programs.

All programs can be customized or have added custom commands for additional fees.
